Digital Photo I : Photoshop CS6 Lesson 3

Today we are going to focus on layers.  A great way to work with layers is using several photos to make one.  Take a look at some of these photo manipulations that have been creating using several landscape photos:

Steps for Landscape Layers:

1.)  You must pick one sky file (1-8 choices)

2.)  Select one mountain or hill file (1-4  choices)

3.)  Choose one lake, river, field, valley or flower file. (11 choices)

4.)  Pick at least one extra option:  rainbow, lightning, planet, house, castle, or temple to add to your landscape.  You can add more than one of these if you wish. (14 choices)

5.)  Once you have all the files selected, open then all in Photoshop.

I will explain the process of combining all images with  layers and removing areas of layers so that the images underneath are visible to create the landscape composition.
